Grupo El Palo has opened its new restaurant, Fango, in the port of El Rompido, on the banks of the Piedras estuary. This restaurant presents an innovative concept, fusing the local essence with sophisticated elaborations, as highlighted by Rocío Guerrero at the opening, a culinary proposal led by chef Cristian Gutiérrez, based on a Mediterranean pantry with local products and signature touches. The head waiter, Felipe Marmesat, will be in charge of guaranteeing excellent service.

Grupo El Palo, known for its restaurants La Patera, La Gran Burguesa and La Casa El Palo, has established itself as a gastronomic reference thanks to the quality of its products and its attention to detail. With Fango, the Guerrero Burgos family reinforces its commitment to local gastronomy, innovating and elevating the existing offer.

It has been refurbished to offer an elegant aesthetic inspired by a Mediterranean house, using natural materials such as wood and clay tiles. Lledó Gas, responsible for the interior design, has created a space that invites calm and prolonged enjoyment. The design of the refurbishment, carried out by Solarq Estudio and the Huelva-based company Alto de la Era, stands out for the building’s openness towards the estuary, allowing a wide view from the 300-square-meter terrace.
