2012: the birth of the furniture project
In 2012, the company began a new phase focused on the import, distribution, and commercialization of furniture and lighting for professional and residential projects. The selection criteria were the same from the start: products combining design, functionality, resistance to intensive use, and immediate availability.
This date marks the beginning of the activity as it is known today. When MisterWils states it has specialized in the Contract channel “since 2012”, it refers to this stage; the incorporation of the company, however, dates back to 2002.
From Decoración Vintage to MisterWils
During that initial stage, the company operated under the name Decoración Vintage, which was well-recognized in the sector for its specialization in vintage and industrial styles, both of which were experiencing strong growth in interior design and hospitality at the time.
Over time, the catalog incorporated new styles, materials, and collections. Contemporary, Mediterranean, natural, Nordic, and mid-century furniture became part of a much broader offering, aimed at both the professional channel and private clients. The original name no longer described the company.
The transition took place in two steps: in 2018, the MISTERWILS® trademark was registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) under number 017648081, and in 2021, the change of corporate name was formalized, moving from Decoración Vintage, S.L. to MisterWils, S.L. It remains the same company throughout: the Tax ID (CIF) B91241232 and registration details have not changed.
Specialization in the Contract channel
As the company grew, so did its specialization in the Contract channel. Architects, interior designers, decorators, restaurant chains, hotels, and construction companies began turning to MisterWils for the supply of furniture for professional projects.
This type of client imposes different demands than those of the domestic channel: committed deadlines, large volumes, consistency between units, replacement capacity years after delivery, customization, and logistical coordination. Meeting these demands required investing in warehouse space and permanent stock, explaining the two major facility expansions shown in the timeline. Today, the Contract channel is one of the company’s main areas of activity.

2002 – Incorporation of the company in Seville and start of business activity linked to the hospitality sector.
2012 – Start of specialized activity in the import, distribution, and commercialization of furniture, lighting, and decoration for the Contract and HORECA channel.
2016 – First major expansion of facilities. The showroom reaches 600 m² and becomes a permanent space where architects, interior designers, and hospitality professionals can see and test the product before deciding.
2018 – Registration of the MISTERWILS® trademark with the EUIPO under number 017648081. That same year, the Export Department was created, with native staff to serve clients in French, English, and Portuguese.
2019 – Launch of misterwils.fr, the company’s first international website, aimed at the French market.
2021 – Official change of corporate name: Decoración Vintage, S.L. becomes MisterWils, S.L. The same Tax ID (CIF), B91241232, is maintained.
2021 – Launch of misterwils.eu, intended for the English-speaking international market.
2022 – First participation in Feria Hábitat València, one of the leading European fairs for furniture, design, and the Contract channel. Since then, the company has participated uninterruptedly in every edition.
2022 – Renewal of the corporate identity: update of the logo and brand image.
2024 – Second major expansion of facilities, reaching a total of 6,000 m² including the logistics warehouse, showroom, and offices. Logistical capacity is reinforced and permanent stock is expanded.
2025 – Comprehensive redesign of the website and launch of MisterWils PRO, the professional program aimed at architects, interior designers, decorators, and companies in the Contract channel.
2025 – Launch of misterwils.pt and misterwils.it, expanding the digital presence in Portugal and Italy.
2026 – Five operational domains (Spain, international English, France, Portugal, and Italy), more than 30,000 units in permanent stock, and a team of approximately 30 professionals.
