The presenter, actress, writer and businesswoman Paz Padilla has turned her beautiful apartment overlooking the sea in Cadiz into a rustic style retreat. This is Ortega, a piece of furniture handcrafted with recycled wood, so it has the marks and irregularities of wear and tear caused by the passage of time. This large dining area is surrounded by no less than six different chairs and two benches, thus achieving an eclectic, informal and charming look. All the chairs are upholstered in textile to provide that extra comfort and sophistication that makes the space so pleasant and promotes table conversations that last for hours. Of course, to give coherence to the whole, the chairs have been chosen from different patterns but the same models, playing with different combinations of Mid-Century style seats Sacramento and Charlotte: Charlotte Hydro Moss Green, Charlotte Caleido Terracotta, Sacramento Praslin Mustard, Sacramento Praslin Blue, Charlotte Chic and Charlotte Curly Honey.

Its eye-catching prints bring liveliness to the ensemble, while its colors are the ideal addition to a Rustic style interior, as they refer to the tones present in nature, those seen with the naked eye during a day in the countryside. At the same time, the blue trend in the shades of the textiles helps them blend in perfectly with the surrounding maritime environment, a decision enhanced by the inclusion of two blue candlesticks on the Ortega table.

Finally, the two Amalfi benches that preside over the table maintain the rustic style by being completely handcrafted in recycled pine wood. Their sober lines and slightly open legs give them an irresistible vintage look.

A rustic and sophisticated living room in which green velvet rules.

For the living room, the rustic-style vibes of the kitchen are softened, gaining in sophistication and luxurious appearance thanks to the abundant use of velvet, an evergreen textile that is pure refinement. This is seen, for example, in the upholstered Sando Verde chairs, with a contemporary style and a tubular steel structure with a brass-like golden finish. They are used in the dining area of the living room, located next to a bright window that opens onto the terrace with a privileged view of the sea.
