The presenter, actress, writer and businesswoman Paz Padilla has turned her beautiful apartment overlooking the sea in Cadiz into a rustic style retreat. To do so, she has relied on the products and interior design team of Misterwils, which has helped her to realize her vision: to achieve a cheerful, warm and cozy home, in which wood, brass and the most tasteful textiles are the main protagonists.

Misterwils furniture has been chosen by the presenter to decorate the kitchen with a large dining area, the living room with sea views and the terrace.

In the first of the rooms mentioned, the kitchen, a large rustic style table stands out which is perfect for sharing family meals and small celebrations, surrounded by chairs with seat and back in textile and benches dressed with cushions.

This is Ortega, a piece of furniture handcrafted with recycled wood, so it has the marks and irregularities of wear and tear caused by the passage of time. Thanks to this, it adds character and a certain ‘lived-in’ patina to the new apartment, which thus seems more welcoming.

But perhaps the most interesting thing about this piece is that it is extensible, as it has three positions ranging from 224 centimeters to 264 centimeters, even reaching 304 centimeters. No matter how many family and friends gather at Paz’s house, it’s clear that with the Ortega Rustic style table, there will be room for everyone!

This large dining area is surrounded by no less than six different chairs and two benches, thus achieving an eclectic, informal and charming look. All the chairs are upholstered in textile to provide that extra comfort and sophistication that makes the space so pleasant and promotes table conversations that last for hours.

Of course, to give coherence to the whole, the chairs have been chosen from different patterns but the same models, playing with different combinations of Mid-Century style seats Sacramento and Charlotte: Charlotte Hydro Moss Green, Charlotte Caleido Terracotta, Sacramento Praslin Mustard, Sacramento Praslin Blue, Charlotte Chic and Charlotte Curly Honey.

Its eye-catching prints bring liveliness to the ensemble, while its colors are the ideal addition to a Rustic style interior, as they refer to the tones present in nature, those seen with the naked eye during a day in the countryside. At the same time, the blue trend in the shades of the textiles helps them blend in perfectly with the surrounding maritime environment, a decision enhanced by the inclusion of two blue candlesticks on the Ortega table.

Finally, the two Amalfi benches that preside over the table maintain the rustic style by being completely handcrafted in recycled pine wood. Their sober lines and slightly open legs give them an irresistible vintage look.

Are you wondering where did the cushions that rest on them come from to give them extra comfort? It’s true, they are not in our catalog: they have been custom made by the Misterwils team, and custom upholstered to match the patterns of the Charlotte and Sacramento chairs.

We can’t forget the Adela Oro ceiling lamps that preside over the table, with cage-like lampshade made of metal grid, with a chainmail style finish. They elevate the set with their sculptural air, and ensure an intimate and perfect light on this rustic style meeting space.

A rustic and sophisticated living room in which green velvet rules.

For the living room, the rustic-style vibes of the kitchen are softened, gaining in sophistication and luxurious appearance thanks to the abundant use of velvet, an evergreen textile that is pure refinement.

This is seen, for example, in the upholstered Sando Verde chairs, with a contemporary style and a tubular steel structure with a brass-like golden finish. They are used in the dining area of the living room, located next to a bright window that opens onto the terrace with a privileged view of the sea.

Brass, an elegant and fashionable material, is replicated in the structure of the Umbria Verde table, with delicate lines and green marble top, continuing with the predominant tone of the room. This material is also seen in the lamp that crowns its surface, Eliot, Retro style, with metal structure finished in brass bath and a very Art Deco glass lampshade.

Another Umbria table closes the set framed by the white sofa and two California armchairs, also in green velvet, in a distinguished Nordic style.

On the table rests, this time, the Filipina table lamp, Contemporary style, with cement base and polyester lampshade. Thanks to this choice, the space is not overloaded with pieces of antique flavor, but a current look with vintage accents is achieved.

Rustic style sideboards to store everything you need in the living room

In addition to a good sofa, a living room should also have sideboards where we can store everything we need to celebrate with those we love the most. In her spacious apartment, Paz Padilla has opted for two Rustic style sideboards, which are the ones that bring that ‘handmade’ touch to the living room that allows coherence between the kitchen, the terrace and this room.

In this case, the actress has chosen the Deeper rustic style recycled wood sideboard, with four storage areas and a beautiful front with herringbone-shaped doors.

The presenter has also opted for a rounded sideboard of handcrafted wood and Contemporary Rustic style Helgady, with two doors and two drawers and a very large storage space.

On this, rests the Gunner table lamp, with a contemporary air, with a metal base of worn appearance that integrates perfectly into a rustic style interior.

The jewel of this beachfront apartment is undoubtedly the terrace. To decorate it, Paz has decided to continue the rustic style line that articulates the decorative discourse of the rest of the house with the Bengala coffee table in rustic style, handcrafted in recycled pine wood with oval top.

Around it, a sofa and two Bellano armchairs are distributed, characterized by their contemporary shapes and UV-resistant polyester rope backrest. This lightens the table’s forceful look and, once again, makes reference to the sea with those ropes that remind us of the ropes of the Cadiz boats.
