Restyling of Montagú restaurant by Zinkers

After several weeks of work, Zinkers presents what for them has been an exciting project. The restyling of the Montagú restaurant in Granollers.

When the request for this makeover came to Zinkers, it was a perfect fit. Closeness with the studio, freedom in the project and trust with the client, are three premises that have really been decisive to carry out this project in record time.

The change begins with a firm intention, its owners Daniel and Montse want to reflect in their place, the essence of each product of their menu, the care for details and give it a touch that differentiates it from the rest. The influences when you enter Montagú are clear, wood and iron / industrial and vintage.

When you arrive at Montagú the change from the street can be seen at first sight; It has radically changed the tones, the labeling of the entrance completely in dark gray, made of iron with laser cut and white logo illuminated with LEDs. The door, which has been changed by a glass one without profiles, allows to enjoy the whole place, invites to enter, brings light and amplitude.

The intention was to generate contrasts, industrial but warm, with furniture that would stand out and invite to have a good time.

In the restyling of the Montagú Restaurant, the tables have been made to measure to gain diners, areas have been differentiated and the back of the restaurant has been enhanced to gain amplitude. The lighting has been replaced by new LED panels and lamps with filament bulbs have been installed. The walls have been covered in wood and iron, and a special PVC parquet floor has been installed for restaurants. The bar is the main point of the project, and has 6 meters long in wood that enter the new kitchen, and low bar in iron with LED lighting. The kitchen space has been redistributed, expanding the work areas and giving it a port logistics container type industrial aesthetic, and a new opening has been made to connect the kitchen with the living room.
