Mediterranean Cafeteria in the Sierra of Malaga

Comprehensive reform and complete redistribution to achieve a relaxed and visually very aesthetic environment.

Located in a picturesque village in the mountains of Malaga, the new premises had to stand out visually and offer a cozy and sensory experience from the first glance.

With this premise, we carried out a complete renovation and redistribution of the old premises, managing to give life to a new cafeteria with a completely renovated and contemporary aesthetic, without losing the Mediterranean soul that defines the region.

The facade, built with exposed brick and with a modern aesthetic, evokes the traditional Andalusian architecture. Entering we can see the side bar divided into two functional areas: one designed for drinks, and another dedicated to coffee and ice cream, differentiating the use without losing aesthetic continuity.

Inside we find an environment with a visual harmony that has been achieved thanks to colors, materials and natural vegetation, all carefully selected to guide the visitor between different spaces.

The tiling selected in aquamarine tones reminds us of marine landscapes, in addition, the lime paint on walls brings freshness and tradition. Without forgetting the wicker ceilings that envelop the environment with warmth, the wooden friezes and the porcelain floors of high resistance and natural aesthetics. All this set of materials, colors and textures, transports us to coastal aesthetics, tradition and authenticity.

The lighting plays a leading role, with a careful selection of handcrafted lamps, accompanied by wooden and rope furniture that reinforce the Mediterranean and natural character of the space. Every corner is designed to generate a sense of calm, simplicity and enjoyment.

This project not only transforms a place, but reinterprets the spirit of the environment with a groundbreaking proposal in image and deeply rooted in the landscape and local culture.
