Bar Mutante, mutate or die! A project with Marcos Muñoz’s stamp

The legendary Sevillian restaurant changes its management and image, adapting to new trends with an urban and colorful style.

Located in the Sevillian neighborhood of La Alameda de Hércules, what was once one of the most traditional live music venues in the city – La Caja Negra – is now one of the best known in Seville. La Caja Negra – where artists such as Raimundo Amador, Pájaro, Santiago Auseron or Lole y Manuel have performed, has become a new establishment, completely changing its image at the hands of Ardeseo, led by Marcos Muñoz.

The project, which has consisted of a radical change, pays homage to the premises of Berlin in the 90’s with an eminently urban style. Its walls are full of Street Art with a multitude of references to the undergroundhave been painted by Marcos, one of the greatest experts in decorative mural painting and airbrushing in Seville.

In addition to the mural painting, we can find more evidence of the urban industrial style, such as the neon lighting in fluorescent colors, the corrugated sheet metal and metal mesh cladding or the furniture, for which Marcos has used pieces from MisterWils.

A project that surprises with its vibrant colors and leaves no client indifferent.
