La jaula de papel, a restaurant with a lot of art in the center of Seville

Since opening its doors at the end of September 2019, the Paper Cage has not stopped garnering clientele and success.

This restaurant, located in the heart of the city (in Angostillo street) offers a kitchen open all day, offering different menus from breakfast to dinner. In addition, it is committed to a Mediterranean market cuisine, adapting its proposals to the season of the year.

The offer is completed with a good selection of desserts, where you can also enjoy cheeses and cocktails.

For the conceptualization of the space and the decoration project, La Jaula de Papel counted on Marcos Muñoz Perea, from www.ardeseo.es who combines in his work the design and decoration with custom mural painting, thus giving his interiors a 100% personal and unique character.

Marcos has extensive experience in the sector, in which he has been involved since the 90s and where he has received several awards, such as the award for best stand at the MOMA fair in Ifema.

In the project, Marcos has played with two types of floors, to differentiate environments and has provided the natural point with the use of wood lining the walls. The artistic detail that does not go unnoticed is the proposal of the lamps, where Marcos has started with origami herons made of paper, on the leaves of a book of poems by García-Lorca to introduce them as a special element, coming out of the cages, adapted in this case as the lamps of the premises.

The space is completed with a terrace that allows you to enjoy the kitchen of La Jaula de Papel and the emblematic Santa Marta square.
