1. La Coartada, warm and casual restaurant decoration.

It was Bertín Osborne who wrote this message on his social networks to welcome La Coartada, a new Sevillian establishment whose interior design is in charge of his daughter Alejandra Osborne. The creative director, who has been part of the artistic team of her father’s well-known program, Mi casa es la tuya, has already more than proved her worth in the field of restaurant decoration.

In this case, Alejandra Osborne decided for an elegant and casual aesthetic in a space of beige tones, starring furniture in warm colors: oranges, reds, browns … Thanks to the choice of colors, lighting, upholstered chairs and many cushions and the use of natural materials such as wood and plant fibers, a sense of ‘shelter’ that invites you to enjoy a nice chat between courses is achieved.

The bar has special relevance in the decoration of this restaurant thanks to the use of black on the back wall, as well as a lighting that enhances the yellow tones of the set and draws attention to the place, offering an extra sophistication that contrasts with the rough wooden columns of bare appearance, and exposed concrete.

For the decoration of the restaurant, the designer has opted for several MisterWils products. Among them stands out, for example, the Odum wooden sideboard, rustic style, made of recycled pine wood with two hinged doors and herringbone geometric design.

Also the Hempy rattan lamp, which contributes to the intimate atmosphere of the establishment.

But perhaps the piece that most decidedly marks the decoration of La Coartada restaurant is the upholstered Sacramento Praslin chair, with a distinguished mid-century style, a tubular steel structure finished in paint and seat and back upholstered in textile. It is available in blue, yellow and terracotta; the latter is the tone that captivated Osborne to achieve an atmosphere in which warmth and comfort would predominate.

2.Havana, restaurant decoration with tropical airs

The Paseo de San Gregorio is the lung of Puertollano (Ciudad Real), a very central green space covering an area of 46,000 square meters. There are 125 different types of plants, with more than a thousand trees and around a hundred shrubs.

In this privileged space of the city is Havana, an establishment that undoubtedly had to drink from the magical tropical atmosphere that surrounds it. In fact, that was the starting point for the MisterWils interior design team when it came to decorating the restaurant, a sort of luxury beach bar far from the sea.

“With exotic airs, tropical style and lots of light, the chosen restaurant decoration perfectly blends materials and colors, immersing us in an amazing and chameleonic place“, explain the professionals of MisterWils.

Thanks to the abundant vegetation and the panels made with wooden slats in natural colors, Havana’s various spaces are differentiated, including a large lounge for restaurant service, a cocktail area with high tables and stools, a bar area, and finally, the beautiful terrace.

In the latter, “the choice of furniture has been a plus to achieve the total integration of the premises in the context of the Paseo”, explain the interior design team of MisterWils, which has used the brand’s products for the decoration of the restaurant.

The chill out area with low tables and lounge chairs in Mediterranean style, which is pure nature thanks to the choice of organic materials, is particularly eye-catching. An example? The Rodas wood and rope chair, in rustic style, with a solid laurel wood structure with a natural finish and seat and backrest woven in braided palm.

Other natural-looking seating also shines in this restaurant’s décor, such as Brandy, with a tubular steel structure and synthetic rattan seat, backrest and cushion included.

The Vivian Japandi-style rope and metal chair, with its tubular aluminum structure and polyester rope seat and backrest, contributes to the tropical atmosphere that fascinates the Havana restaurant’s décor.

3. Burro Canaglia, sophisticated restaurant decoration.

The Burro Canaglia hotel and catering group keeps growing: now there are five establishments in Seville, and others in Alicante, Huelva, Malaga, Madrid…

The Burro Canaglia team itself has decorated all these restaurants, creating an irresistible atmosphere in which to enjoy the chain’s traditional Italian cuisine.

In Tomares (Seville), specifically, they have developed a luminous space of 300 meters, with the help of the Cota 7 architecture studio, with lots of vegetation, wonderful and original metal lamps, upholstered chairs with floral prints and refined leather stools, such as Thabo Maxi.

This tall Mid Century style stool features a powder-coated tubular steel frame and leather seat, with a striking brass-plated backrest.

Another piece that sets the elegant tone of Burro Canaglia’s restaurant décor is the Lugger upholstered chair, with a tubular steel frame, needle legs with brass trim, a seat upholstered in velvet fabric and a backrest with vertical beading. It is available in terracotta, curry, pink, black and green.

Finally, pieces such as the Trebell shelving cart, in industrial style, contribute to break with the sophisticated shapes of the restaurant’s decoration, creating a more informal atmosphere thanks to its steel structure with wheels with a worn finish and its natural acacia wood shelves.

4. Amarola, Mediterranean restaurant decoration

By the sea, in Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), the well-known Cádiz chef Alejandro Alcántara (MasterChef) has chosen the interior design team of MisterWils to create the decoration of the Amarola restaurant. In it, organic materials, Eco-Friendly trend and Mediterranean style, set the tone.

“The use of natural furniture, untreated wood, and even recycled and earthy colors have created a cozy atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the cuisine of this international chef,” explain the professionals of MisterWils.

In the glassed-in area, at street level, the high teak wood tables stand out, very handcrafted and with a rough look. These bring an almost rural touch to the restaurant’s decoration, reinforced by the use of lime mortar on the walls, the clay pots and vases and the handmade tapestries that decorate the space.

We are talking, for example, about the Drift high wooden stool, with a rustic and Wabi-Sabi style, made of solid teak wood.

The piece accompanies the Foscari high wooden table, made of the same type of wood and also with a bare look.

Inside, the eye is drawn to the sculptural fiber feather chandelier, made entirely by hand. In terms of lighting, it is accompanied by other more discreet – but very warm – lamps, such as Flak Oro, made of metal grille.

We love, for example, the Astoria wall lamp, Industrial style, made of metal with bubble glass diffuser and finished in rust-colored paint, ideal for decorating terraces with vintage style and a lot of personality!

5. Tropicana, natural restaurant decoration

When the legendary Tropicana (Ronda, Malaga) decided to change its location and move to the center, it decided to count on MisterWils to design a new space that would honor its cuisine, 100% organic.

Therefore, the interior design team decided that the decoration of the restaurant should be fundamentally natural, although without losing sight of the ‘exotic‘ part: “Its name marked the style, so we have used a design inspired by the renewed tropical trends, adding some more personal touches and updating the tropical trend that we are used to find in local and restaurants”, recognize the interior designers.

Thus, the starting point was a natural palette, with a strong presence of warm and reddish tones in the upholstery of some of the furniture, as well as in the terracotta mortar wall or the cane ceiling.

“Following this line, furniture has been applied in untreated wood and finished in organic fibers, which bring this natural look” to the decoration of the restaurant, continue the interior designers of MisterWils “In addition, ornamental plants have been introduced to add freshness even in the ceiling, where they are combined with plant fiber lamps and basketry.” An example? The simple but evocative rattan lampshade Casiopea, in a Nordic-Mediterranean style.

Other pieces from the brand have also been used to shape the restaurant’s décor, such as the Steffy dining table, with a recycled pine wood structure and plywood top with a beveled edge finished in black paint.

For other tables, it was decided to use a natural ‘bark’ type chestnut wood top, finished in water-based varnish, which enhances Tropicana’s organic look.
