La Casona reopens to the public in Huelva

La Casona, a building with history and renown in the city of Huelva, reopens with force.

Gestia, a firm from Huelva, has been in charge of the restoration project of La Casona, returning the entire property to its original image, following an exhaustive study by a historian, to confirm with documents of the time the original colors, native vegetation and other interior details. And they have succeeded, although they are currently detailing the top floor and the rear nave of the building, where once the old printing house of Viuda e hijos de Muñoz was located and where the newspaper La Provincia was published every day in the first third of the twentieth century. They have also counted with the technicians Alejandro Ruiz and Luis Vacas, in charge of the project of rehabilitation and enhancement of the building.

A building with history and renown in the city of Huelva, now reopens with force its garden of more than 1000 square meters, and the main floor. The top floor will offer a different gastronomic proposal, but for now we will enjoy live music in its cafeteria and gardens.

The person in charge of the decoration, Cristina Galeote, has been able to give the indispensable touch so that the decoration of the place does not leave you indifferent, reminds you of past times and is comfortable. For this great project they have counted on the furniture of MisterWils, with marble tables with cast iron feet, wooden and cannage chairs, glass lamps, leather and metal stools, and a large Chester sofa. A great staging for a great project.
